Ever notice how the press just write doom and gloom everyday about oil. One day China just used it all up, there is a storm coming the oil industry is shut down, wiped out. Bloomberg today wrote an article that makes it the end of the world for oil and the consumption !

Let’s say you are spending $75 a week in your household on gas. That’s about $300 a month and we where wondering if you would take that money or most of it and finance a new car ? What I am getting at is if you where to buy a new GM Volt which is an electric car coming in 2010 and would cost 80 cents to charge for 60 miles of driving. This breaks down to about 25 cents a gallon, so you know have lets just say about $275 a month in surplus cash.

So who does make anywhere from 50 to 75 trillion dollars off of oil ? Well the next time you fill your luxury liner up look at the pump and you will see you pay about 19 cents US Govt tax and between 20 and 30 cents state tax. That’s almost 50 cents a gallon [...]

The Smart Car 31 MPG that’s it ? - the smart car or sub-compact has hit the US and I must admit what a disappointment. It’s cool looking if your 25 but its tiny and my biggest grip is it get 31 MPG city 41 highway. 31 MPG is just horrible in my eyes for a mini-car, my gas guzzling SUV GMC Arcadia get 19 ! It doesn’t even get twice as much and its 1/2 the size !
