Will Falling Oil Prices Stop the Energy Revolution ? - this is a question that is going to pop-up very shortly at what price will Americans once again fall asleep to the need for a new energy ? The price of oil has fallen from $147 a barrel to $124 in a week, gas is already 3.99$ a gallon. What if we got to $95 a barrel, and 3.15$ a gallon of gas what would the avg American do? Would they think god this is great, we are safe orrrrrr and more hopefully have they had enough. Have we finally woken up to the economic and enviro problems we face and want change ?
Imagine the 700 Billion $ in money we send to the Middle East each year going to schools, technology, construction, etc. the country would explode with prosperity ! Plus we would once again control technology and our future.

Let’s say you are spending $75 a week in your household on gas. That’s about $300 a month and we where wondering if you would take that money or most of it and finance a new car ? What I am getting at is if you where to buy a new GM Volt which is an electric car coming in 2010 and would cost 80 cents to charge for 60 miles of driving. This breaks down to about 25 cents a gallon, so you know have lets just say about $275 a month in surplus cash.
Would you be willing to take the $275 to finance this new car ? So in the end you are paying $300 a month but its just going to a different place, and you in fact would own the car in the end. The gas you burn is gone once you use it not a very good investment !
Imagine that everyone in the country could finance a new car purchase by new technology. Gas usage would go WAY down, and if everyone was to buy GM cars the US car industry would be saved ! Instead of $300 a month going to the middle east and Exxon you would sending it to Detroit and US jobs, cleaner enviroment if we can push utilities for zero carbon in 10 yrs like Gore wants OR wind power like the Pickens plan !
Neil Young and H-Line Conversions 100MPG ! - this guy Jon Goodman is incredible he is converting 8 MPG Hummers with 325 Horsepower to fire breathing monsters that have 650 Horspower and get this get 25 MPG !! LOL ! Ok and the car industry can’t make an SUV that gets 75 MPG for the family STOP ! This guy is taking trucks that weigh 7000 lbs, turning them into dragsters and gets better gas mileage than your SUV now.

So who does make anywhere from 50 to 75 trillion dollars off of oil ? Well the next time you fill your luxury liner up look at the pump and you will see you pay about 19 cents US Govt tax and between 20 and 30 cents state tax. That’s almost 50 cents a gallon total tax. Ok so we have about 60T$ in tax and we haven’t even added on home heating oil tax, aviation gas tax and let’s not forget when Exxon makes 10B$ in profits that’s taxed 20% ! So you begin to wonder who has the largest vested interest in oil than anyone ? National and local Govt. that’s who.
Makes you wonder doesn’t it why we are at war and why no one really push’s alternative energy. It surely isn’t in the best interest of the Govt. to cut off its pipeline of money is it now !
How would they make up for a 100 T $ in funds if we used solar cells at home to charge our cars everyday ? No you know why they really don’t want to stop the old oil pipeline !
